Time to find your sunglasses, shorts, sandals, sunscreen lotion and picnic blanket or lawn chair, and plan on attending some of the free summer concert series available during the summer weekends starting on Saturday, June 1. The opening concert features The Boeing Employees Concert Band followed on Sunday by the Northwest Swing Band. All concerts start at 2:00 pm but are subject to change on short notice. Check out the link to the summer schedule and you can scan the QR code for further information, assuming you know what QR codes are used for. I'd explain them here, but I'm still trying to figure them out myself. Here's a link to the Army Corps schedule and if you click on the image, it should enlarge to a more readable size.
Enjoy a unique Seattle experience by enjoying free live music at one of Seattle's top tourist destinations. Bring your friends, family and visitors from out of town for several hours of pleasure for the eyes and ears. Oh yes, some of the flowers on the grounds have a pleasing fragrance, so there's that too!
